Gayle Willie Gill

Gayle passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge at the age of 89. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bayou Barbary from 11:00 AM until religious services at 1:30 PM conducted by Pastor Paul Taylor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Dedrick Gill; daughter, Bonita Sager (Brian); son, Stephen Gill (Wendy); sister, Doris McMorris (Herbert); grandchildren, John Sager (Christy), Cody Sager (Hannah), Ashton Stout (Cameron) and Micah Gill; 4 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Lois Loflin Willie. Pallbearers will be John Sager, Cody Sager, Micah Gill, Cameron Stout, Gary McMorris and Rodney Guitreau. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bayou Barbary. Memorial donations may be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 21949 LA Hwy. 444, Livingston, LA 70754.
