Genevieve Tremont

Genevieve "Jenny" Beaulieu Tremont, 81, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on March 12, 2026. Jenny was born on February 26th,1945, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada.

Jesus Christ said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.

Jenny was an Army Vietnam Veteran, where she was a radio teletype/Morse code operator and was honorably discharged in 1976. Jenny attended LSU for two years, was a personal secretary to Jesse Bankston, and finally worked as a state medical adjuster for the Office of Group Benefits before retiring. She enjoyed playing the piano, painting, crossword puzzles and cooking. In her younger days, she was an outstanding figure skater.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Ronald C. Tremont; children, Nathaniel Bayles (Patty), Jonna Lee (Steve), Sean Barto (Lana), and Angie Nicotri (Thomas); grandchildren, Gabrielle Catherine Jensea, Brandon Nicotri, Caleb Nicotri, Isaac Barto, and Lydia Barto; brother, Emmanuel Beaulieu, Jr. (Theresa),and sister, Kathleen Plourde (John). She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel and Fernande Beaulieu; and her sister, Pauline Taylor. The family would like to give thanks and appreciation to the medical staff and team at Landmark of Baton Rouge and Life Source Services. The family will celebrate Jenny's life privately.
