George "Tittle" Johns

George “Tittle” Dewayne Johns, 63, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his home in Gonzales, Louisiana. Tittle worked in carpentry for many years, developing a strong passion for woodworking. When he had the opportunity, he would spend time hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George A Johns and Mary Lofton Posey; and his sisters, Vivian Fresina and Donna McQueary.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Johns; children, Jeff, Juliana, and Sophia Johns; grandchildren, Jayden and Journey Johns, sisters, Hilda Heard and Candy Nevels; and brother, Jerry Netherland; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family.
