George Martin Zimmerebner passed away on Thursday, January 15,2026, at the age of 84. He was born on March 2,1941 in North Little Rock, Arkansas and was a graduate of Sylvan Hills High School Class of 1959. George was a Master Brick Mason by profession but he did attend Frances Elizabeth Finishing and Modeling School; he was able to follow his passion of acting. He had cast parts in commercials; in the television series, “North and South”; and in the movies, “The Oldest Living Graduate” and “Hot Pursuit’. George was a member of the Toastmasters Club in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, family gatherings, and genuine conversations.
George is survived by his fiancé, Beverly Hill; sisters, Vera Willene Smith (Larry) and Mary Frances Starbuck; grandchildren; Tyler Ross Zimmerebner (Kayla), Thomas Martin Zimmerebner (Victoria), and Trenton Allen Zimmerebner (Amanda) ; great-grandchildren, Torren, Aliyah, Larina, and Caiden; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived and missed by his fiancé’s children, Russell Gaudin (Kacie) and Alison Gaudin; lifetime friend, Larry Kerr (Annette); friend and neighbor, Scott Guileyards; and his buddy, Monti the Maltipoo.
George is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Humphries Zimmerebner; son, Tony Martin, Zimmerebner; father, William Ernest Zimmerebner, Sr.; mother, Vera Mae McQuerry Burton Zimmerebner; sisters, Jamie Ruth Gunter, Wanda Jean Burton Redd, and Judith Ann Moellman; brothers; William Theodore Burton; William Ernest Zimmerebner, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana at 9:00 A.M. until the Memorial Service begins at 12:00 P.M.
