Gerard "Jerry" Vautrot

Gerard “Jerry” Vautrot, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 80.

A longtime resident of Denham Springs, Jerry will be remembered for his friendly nature, generous heart, and the kindness he showed to those around him. He had a way of making connections with others, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura, his parents, Percy and Frances, sister Ethelyn V. Rand, brothers, Frank and Jude. 

He leaves behind his children, Todd and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Alec, Hannah Grace, and Kylee; and his great-grandchildren, Lucy and Theo.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, the love Jerry gave and the memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of his family forever. His life was a part of their story, and his memory will continue to be treasured in the moments they share, the stories they tell, and the love that keeps their family connected.

Jerry will be remembered with love, missed more than words can express, and never forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at a future date.
