Gordon C. Oliphant

Gordon C Oliphant born in Holden and a resident of Walker passed away September 3, 2024 at the age of 81. He led a fulfilling career as a carpenter since 1969. He also proudly served in the United States Army for 4 years. Gordon was an avid outdoorsman especially when it came to hunting with his dogs and fishing. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife; Cecelia Oliphant, his children; Michael Oliphant(Karen), Christopher Oliphant(Julie), and Jeffrey Oliphant(Tonya), grandchildren; Christopher Oliphant, Mike Oliphant, Brittany Alzeer, Marina George, Ashlyn Smith, Gage Oliphant, Jonathan Oliphant, Madisyn Oliphant and Marissa Klicker, great-grandchildren; Jarrod and Lexus Oliphant, Christopher Oliphant, Jr., Anthony Dillner, Liliana Oliphant, Raya and Alia Alzeer, Sterling and Ezra George, Berkley and Jaycee Smith, Axel Oliphant and Sophia and Rowynn Phillips, sisters; Hilda Hoyt and Bonnie Carlton, brother; Pejoe Oliphant as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; William and Mary Oliphant, 9 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday September 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM with service starting at 5:00 PM.
