Harold Wayne Landry, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away July 22, 2026 at the age of 81.
Harold was born on July 21, 1945 in Rosedale, Louisiana to Thomas and Lelia Landry. After high school, he went on to pursue a career as a welder. He worked for many years at Ethel Corporation and eventually retired from Exxon Plastics. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on anything he could get his hands on. He had a lifelong passion for vintage cars and trucks, and admired all their unique qualities. Above all else, he loved his family and cherished each and every moment spent with them. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed dearly by all those who had the privilege to know and love him.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Landry; son, Devin Landry (Tammy); grandchildren, Matthew (Katie), Lacey (Daniel), and Logan; sister, Mary Reine; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Landry; parents, Thomas and Lelia Landry, and siblings; Tommy Lee Landry, Sadie Mae Landry Eldridge, Alton Joseph “AJ” Landry, Ruth Caroline Landry Jarreau, and Ray Edward “Roy” Landry, Sr.
A private family graveside will take place at a later date.
