Henry Denison Arnett, Jr.

Henry Denison Arnett, Jr. was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 27, 1937, to Henry D. Arnett, Sr. and Leola Arnett Stringer. He was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan. On January 20, 2025, at the age of 87, he peacefully went to be with the Lord, leaving behind quite a legacy. Henry married Verena Leffler on July 22,1961. Together they settled in Zachary, La, and raised three children.

Henry is survived by his three children, Henry Arnett III (Mary), Edward Arnett (Theresa), and Vesta Dugas, grandchildren: Amanda Arnett, Melissa Arnett Jackson (Jonathon), Lacey Arnett, Thomas Arnett (Sara), and Morgan Miley (Elizabeth). Great grandchildren: Shelby Arnett, Brianna Spangler, Skylar Spangler, Gabrielle Spangler, Jacob Spangler, Jonathon Jackson, Jr., Amaya Jackson, Amyrah Jackson and Frankie Taylor Jr., great great-grandchildren: Cooper Arnett, Lane Dix and Miracle Spangler. Sister: Patricia Kent (A.J.) He is preceded in death by his wife, Verena Arnett, mother Leola Stringer, father, Henry Arnett, Sr., Stepfather Aubrey Stringer, brother, Leroy Arnett, sisters, Hilda Carpenter and Beverly Gillingham, Son in laws Bobby Dugas and Jim (Wayne) Miley and grandson, Donald Arnett.
