Hilda Louise Herring Daniels

Hilda Louise Herring Daniels, born on February 28, 1931, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026.

Hilda was a woman of deep and unwavering faith, known by all who loved her as someone with one of the strongest faiths anyone had ever known. She was a longtime and devoted member of Walker Baptist Church, where she faithfully served her church family and community for many years.

She found great joy in volunteering multiple days each week at the Walker Baptist Church Food Pantry, always giving of her time with a servant’s heart and a spirit of kindness. An avid reader, Hilda also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Outside of her time at church, one of her favorite pastimes was watching NASCAR, something she truly looked forward to.

Above all, Hilda loved her family dearly. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, compassion, and devotion, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Hilda is survived by her children, Robert “Bob” Daniels (Brenda), Janice Brown (Curt), Cathy Boudreaux (Roger), and Sara Langhetee (Russell); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calvin Daniels; parents, Charlie and Ruby Herring; granddaughter, Tracey Gatlin Wolinski; and 8 brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Walker Baptist Church Food Pantry.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home 1720 South Range Ave, Denham Springs on Monday, March 23, 2026, for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Walker Baptist Church for a visitation from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at Walker Baptist Church Cemetery.
