Howard passed away on 7/11/2026 after a battle with cancer. He is now sailing and fishing with his father, Charles Woodard Graef in God’s great blue waters. Howard was very proud to have been born in Key West, Florida and lived in Egypt and Hawaii in his younger years. He served in the United States Navy and was at the front lines in the Bay of Pigs even in the 1960’s.

He is survived by his wife, Cecile Landry Vezinat. His son Charles Jacob Vezinat and granddaughter, Rowan Vezinat. And his beloved Shih Tzu, Rosie.

A memorial service will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Wednesday, July 15 th , from 9:00 until 11:00.
