Ida “Elaine” Fletcher

Ida “Elaine” Fletcher passed away on Monday February 12, 2024. Elaine was born on November 8, 1943.

She had a lengthy battle with COPD and Dementia. Elaine was born in Gilbert, LA and moved to Livingston Parish with her parents and siblings.

Elaine loved LSU sports, cooking and visiting with loved ones. Her best friend was her sister Betty.

Elaine is proceeded in death by her parents A.G. and Della Cook, sisters Nira and Portia, brothers Charles and Ronnie. Her husband Loyd “Dale” Fletcher Sr and her son Loyd Dale “Bo” Fletcher Jr.

Elaine is survived by her son Greg and wife Evelyn “Cricket” Hill, daughter Michelle and husband Curtis Dean, Stepdaughter Rene’ Fletcher. Grandchildren, Christina, Jamie, Greg Jr., Jerry, Loyd, Bret, Garrin Beau, Lisa, Airren, Micahla and Katie. She had numerous Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
