Jack Randall Penton, Jr.

Jack Randall Penton, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home, in Denham Springs, on May 15, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on September 15, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Jack worked for many years as a welder and was a proud 50-year member of Local Union 198 Plumbers and Steamfitters. In his free time, Jack enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking vegetables grown from his organic gardens.

He is survived by his daughters, Libby Miller and Sherry L. Penton; his son, John R. Penton; his grandchildren, Britney Totten, Shawn Church, Jr., Hanna Juge, Brylar Gildart, Tyler Penton, Jordyn Penton, and Jake Penton; great-grandchildren, Jayden Vicknair, Jayda Totten, Carter Totten, Shawn Church III (Tripp), and Jamison Juge; and his sisters, Suzanne Penton Aylor and Donna Penton Richard.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Penton, Sr. and Marjorie Jordan Penton; and his sister, Carol Penton Shirley.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM.
