Jacob Lee Thigpen passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 40 Jacob was born on December 6, 1985 in Covington, Louisiana to Gary and Sonyia Thigpen. He resided in Denham Springs and Baton Rouge all of his life.
Jacob went to Denham Springs High school and Southeastern Louisiana University. Jacob was a scholar, an athlete, a musician, a fabulous cook, an electrician, hunter and fisherman, but most of all he loved time with his family. Jacob played high school sports, was in high school band, and played in several musical bands throughout his younger years. He had an eclectic taste in music. Jacob was kind, big hearted, fun, loving, and truly cared about others. His smile was infectious. In 2015 Jacob married Jessica Fletcher at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee. Jacob was gentle, kind, funny, adventurous, and had a heart as big as the moon.
He has survived by his wife, Jessica Thigpen; his parents, Gary and Sonyia Thigpen; stepfather Evan Bordes; stepmother Kim Thigpen, brother, Justin Thigpen, and half sister Amanda Knight.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave, Denham Springs on December 30, 2025 for a visitation starting at 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 1:00 PM
