James Ronald Fowler, Jr.

James “Jimmy” Fowler JR. January 26, 1972 - October 5, 2025

Jimmy went home to be with our eternal Father October 5th, 2025 at 5:35am. Surrounded by his loving wife and three boys. He fought the battle of cancer bravely, gracefully and strongly. He went home into the loving arms of his late wife Cristina and his two girls Johnnie and Felicia who passed away June 7, 2005 and his father James Ronald Fowler “Moon” who passed on May 3, 2011.

Jimmy was a man of few words, yet those words were always filled with love, wisdom, and a gentle humor that reflected his spirit. He found great joy in fishing and spending quality time with his sons, guiding them not only in the ways of life but in the values of integrity and goodness. Among his greatest delights was aggravating his grandchildren and playfully toying with his dogs. Devoted to his family, Jimmy worked tirelessly to provide for them, always placing their needs above his own. His life was marked by kindness, generosity, and selflessness, qualities that defined his character and left a lasting impression on all those who knew him. Even life’s simple pleasures, like his daily coffee, would jump out of the cup for him.

He left his wife Jeni and his three boys, Racey and wife Amanda, Eric and wife Kayla, and Michael behind to join him at a later time. His grandchildren Nathan, Sharee, Stella, Spencer, Summer, and Gage. His mother Carolyn, his sisters and brothers, Monica, Tommy and wife Stephanie, Chris and wife Lisa. His sisters and brothers in marriage, Vicki and husband Paul, Jamie and wife Tabitha, Tiffany and partner Bobby. His father in marriage Richard and wife Betty.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Live Oak Baptist Church, Watson, LA for a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM. Graveside service and burial will take place at 4:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ringgold, LA.
