James “Jamie” Gladden Sanders, 60, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana was born on November 22, 1965. He was a loving father, paw paw, brother, son and friend to many. He was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Jamie enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and always making everyone laugh. He had the skill of painting cars which he soon passed down to his oldest son. If anyone needed his help, his skills went far beyond just painting a vehicle.

Jamie is survived by his son Jeremy Sanders (Brittani) and Josh Sanders (Montana) and his grandchildren, Madison, Cali, Waylon, Wesson, Lakyn, Tate, Tanner and Dax. He is also survived by his brother, Johnny Sanders and nephews John and Justin Sanders along with his former wife, Michelle Poche.

Jamie was preceded in death by his loving parents; Gladden “Sam” Sanders and Ellen Lorraine Sanders; brother, Greg Sanders and great nephew; Jordan Sanders.

Those honoring Jamie as pallbearers will be Jeremy Sanders, Joshua Sanders, Johnny Sanders, John Sanders, Justin Sanders, Jarred Carroll, Seth Vincent and Tate Shaffer.
