James David Luneau passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born on April 8, 1956 in Kaufman, Texas to James and Wanda Luneau.
David was the proud owner of Jimbo’s Seafood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he dedicated more than 30 years to serving his community with hard work and heart. Known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit, he built lasting relationships with customers and friends alike. Outside of his business, David found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He cherished every opportunity to spend time hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Teresa Rayburn Luneau; his daughter, Lacey Luneau Guillot (Lon) and step daughter, Angelina Hasty; son, James Harold Luneau (Mindy); grandchildren, Taylor (Ryan), Sabrina, and Hunten Luneau; sisters, Diane Luneau Smith (Bill), Debbie Vaughn (Billy); brother, Bill Campbell, Jr. (Collen); sisters in law, Donna Loflin (David) & family, and Sandra Scott & family; brothers in law, Don Rayburn, Jr. (Mary) and Mark Rayburn (Laura); nieces, Elizabeth Smith Colvin (Aaron) and Crystal Smith; nephews, William Smith and Devon Knowles.
David is preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda Luneau, and his father and mother-in-law, Donald and Martha Rayburn.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 172 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, LA, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM.
