James “Jim” Robert Ramsay

James “Jim” Robert Ramsay passed away on December 23, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. Born on May 30, 1941, in Price, Utah, he was the third of eight children born to John and Ann Ramsay.

Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and embraced life as a “jack of all trades and master of most,” pursuing various career paths throughout his lifetime. He was a passionate LSU sports fan who loved cheering on the football and baseball teams. Jim also had a deep love for fishing, particularly deep-sea fishing, which brought him great joy.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Eva Susan, and his children, Lisa and Matthew. He is also survived by his brothers, Pete and Rob; his sisters, Carol and Kathy; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jerry and John.
