James Erick Stemig, 85, resident of Sorrento, Louisiana passed away on September 4, 2025. He was born on April 27, 1940 to Bonnebelle Lund Stemig and Nicholas Stemig in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
James is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Josephine Basabas Stemig; twin sister, Janice Martinez; his beloved dog, Abby; and his nieces and nephews, Nick, Rick, Pete, Robin, Ronnie, and Sheryl.
James is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Barbara Taylor.
