James Norman Street, Sr.

James Norman Street, Sr., passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the age of 63. He was born on December 2, 1962, in Baton Rouge, and was a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He graduated from Walker High School and was a carpenter by trade. When he wasn’t woodworking, Norman enjoyed fishing and looking for four-leaf clovers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Street, Sr. and Emma Louise Street; sisters, Louise Bennett and Charlotte Eubanks; brothers, Clyde Street, Sr. and Allen Street, Jr.; nieces, Laura Bennett James and Peggy Gonthier; and nephew, Clyde Street, Jr.

Norman is survived by his wife, Christine Viola Street; nieces; Jennifer Leddon, Shannon Anglin, Brandy Street, Annie McLin, Casey Street, Cassie Street, and Amanda Street; and nephews, Robert Bubba Bennett ( Kerri Stout Bennett) and Doug Street. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are pending. Service times will be updated on this website when more information is available.
