Jamie Lee Humphrey

Jamie Lee Humphrey, resident of French Settlement, passed away at the age of 57 on July 9, 2026. He was born on June 11, 1969 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to his parents Sylvester Humphrey and Sheila Devereaux. After attending a few years of college, he worked as a Board Operator for Honeywell for many years. Jamie was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, proud to have served his country. In his free time, he enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, golfing, basketball and anything LSU. He will be dearly missed by the many people that were privileged to know and love him.

He is survived by his spouse Allison Guthrie Humphrey, mother Shirley Humphrey, daughters Desiree Stringer (Daniel), Kriston Humphrey (Brett), and Julia Guthrie, sons Peyton Humphrey (Jasmine) and Coleton Humphrey (Kassie), grandchildren Rosalie Orefice, Flynn Orefice, Hope Daigle, Lorelei Duet, Luna Duet, Levi Humphrey, Lilibet Humphrey, Leia Humphrey, and Evangeline Lea, sisters Brandee Pittman (Ronnie) and Jodi Manton (Jackie), brothers Byron Humphrey and Jon Devereaux, nieces Brennin Dickens, Hannah Humphrey, and Rebekah Humphrey, nephews Jarred Stewart, Gabriel Humphrey, Jonah Manton, and Jakob Manton, uncle Roman Witt, and Ruby and Larry Smith.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Sylvester Humphrey and Sheila Devereaux, and Phillip Devereaux.

There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with a memorial service starting at 3:00pm.

A private burial will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery at a future date.
