Janna Dianne (Cardin) Williams passed away on April 25, 2026 in the Butterfly Unit at the Baton Rouge General Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Janna was born on March 10, 1982 in Springfield, MO. to William Bryan Cardin and Deborah Louise (Cardin)Adkins. She was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Denham Springs High School and then served in the United States Army as military police for 6 years. Janna worked as the food service manager at Gray’s Creek Elementary School for eight years. At times working 3 jobs at a time to support her family as a single mother and all the while battling cancer from the age of 24 years old.
Janna is survived by her father William Bryan Cardin (Sharon Cardin), her mother Deborah Louise Adkins(Woodrow Adkins), her sister Julie Deanne Whall, her brother Travis Wayne Cardin, her children Nathaniel Bryan Williams, Savanna Brook Williams, (fiancé Brandon Paul Trawick), Wyatt Hunter Williams, and Ryan Wayne Williams, step-son Steven Chance Williams (fiancée Kinnie Johnson), step-daughter Chloe Williams Magee(Trevor Magee), granddaughter Annaleigh Kate Trawick, step-granddaughter Kaylynn Elaine Magee, step-grandson Raiden Mary, step-grandson Rowan Mary, step-grandson Renly Williams and many nieces and nephews. Janna loved her church, reading, and country music, but most of all, her family…she was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at 1st Church of the Nazarene, 9955 Old Hammond Hwy, Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. A private graveside service with Military Honors will be at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary at a later date. Pallbearers, Jace Whall, Nathan Williams, Wyatt Williams, Travis Cardin, Brandon Trawick, Chance Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Williams.
