Jason James “Catfish” Stafford Sr. was born on April 15, 1972, and passed away on February 18, 2026. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his daughter, Erica Stafford (John Meilleur); his brother, Steve Stafford; his sister, Shannon Guidroz (James); three nieces; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Jason James Stafford Jr. and Thomas Allan Stafford; his father, Steve Stanley Stafford; and his mother, Joan Alfano Stafford.
Pallbearers will be Steve Stafford, John Meilleur, James Guidroz, Billy Chandler, Shane Collins, and Dalton Clinard.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home (20335 Texas St., Livingston, LA 70754) on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hiram Stafford Cemetery.
