Jeanette V. Henderson

Jeanette V. Henderson passed away on November 6, 2026. She was born on April 5, 1952, in Portland, Maine.

She was the crossing guard for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department a position she took over after her mother retired. In her free time, she enjoyed going camping, finding a good deal at a garage sale, but most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her grandchildren. 

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Henderson; her daughter, Hollae Henderson; her sons, Aric Henderson and Kory Henderson; her grandchildren, Haedyn Henderson, Daxton Carter, Heaven Harris, and Kira Brewer.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Vidal; and her mother, Francis Duhon.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet that helped care for Jeanette and to the family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
