Jeff David Hollis

Jeffery David Hollis, 59, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was a native of Baton Rouge and enjoyed his LSU sports and was considered by his family, an “enthusiastic” hunter and fisherman. But mostly he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 38 years, Heather Hollis; sons and daughters-in-law, Blake Nolan Hollis and Natalie, and Grant Mitchell Hollis, and Kelsey; grandchildren, Emily, Logan, and Bodie Hollis, and Bennett Andre; mother, Linda Hollis and stepfather, Kenny Byrd; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Trey Diamond; as well as many other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy P. Hollis.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Saturday, August 22, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
