Jerry Foster

July 1, 1934 – March 16, 2025 Jerry Foster, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of 90. Born on July 1, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jerry lived a life filled with love, service, and devotion to family. A proud graduate of Tulane University, Jerry went on to serve his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force. His dedication and strength were evident in all aspects of his life, whether in his military service, his career, or his role as a loving patriarch.

Jerry was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Carolyn Knight Foster. He is survived by his sister, Maryann Foster Goldberger, and his brother, George Foster (Carolyn). He leaves behind his son, Douglas Foster (Paula), and five stepsons, Clyde Knight, Chris Knight (Letty), Greg Knight (Luisa), Tracy Knight, and Terry Knight (Amy).

He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, and numerous great-step-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy. Jerry’s life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and devotion to his family. His wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Carolyn, and forever remembered by those who loved him.
