Jerry Daffin, Jr.

Baton Rouge, LA - A loving husband, father, son, and brother, Jerry Richard Daffin Jr. (Big Daddy), 67, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital on August 30, 2025, with his family present. He was born on April 18, 1958, in New Orleans, LA, and resided in Baton Rouge for 55 years.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathleen Cook Daffin of Baton Rouge, LA; his son, Jacob Cook; his mother, Eleanor Soniat Hutzler; his father, Jerry Richard Daffin Sr. (Gretchen); brothers Terry (Mary), Joel (Kim), and Tim (Melinda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on September 27, 2025 at Seale funeral home from 11am - 12pm with pre-service gathering from 9am - 11am.
