Jimmy Ray Knight

Jimmy “Jimbo” Ray Knight, Jr, age 60, of Livingston, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1965 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Margaret Patterson Knight and Jimmy Ray Knight, Sr. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud Pawpaw. A hardworking man throughout his life, Jimmy built a legacy of dedication, integrity, and perseverance. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and his example of strength and resilience will continue to guide those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Nancy Ann Knight; his three children Jimmy Ray Knight III (Kristine), Julie Ann Smith (Adam), and Jamie Lyn Herring (Blain); his six grandchildren, Emily Nicole Cutrer (Ben), Jimmy Ray Knight IV, Parker Allen Knight, Lucas Matthew Patterson, Levi William Patterson, and Hattie Margaret Herring; 1 great grandson, Hayes Asher Cutrer; 2 brothers William Knight (Kathy), Roger Knight; and many extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad Margaret and Jimmy Knight Sr.; a brother, Allen Knight; sister, Carol Stogner; and nephew, Joe Alan Knight.

He was a hardworking man, the kind who quietly shouldered responsibilities to give his family the best life possible – a hero who could fix anything. Though his work was important, his greatest pride was his family. His wisdom, his steady advice, and his presence at every milestone. — big and small — He was the rock of our family and will be remembered always.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 20335 Texas St. Livingston, Louisiana on Thursday, September 25, 2025 for a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at Gateway Gardens.
