Jon Escarra Armand

Jon Escarra Armand, 68, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was a graduate of Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge and worked as a bookkeeper and accounting clerk for many years. Jon loved to read and watch old movies, and if she could include these at her favorite vacation spot, the beach…she was her happiest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Beryle B. Escarra.

Jon is survived by her step-son, Chad Armand; five sisters, Cheryl Aiena, Jacquelyn Cavin, Patty Lee, Lynn Champagne, and Jamie Rogan; nieces, Brooke LeBlanc, Mariel Aiena, Stephanie C. Doran, Lauren Lee, Kirsten Lee, and Brett Lee; nephew, Aaron Bertrand; her very special cousins, Michael and Reginald Landry; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff, doctors and nurses of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by family and friends.
