Jose Antonio Sosa-Rios

Jose Antonio Sosa-Rios, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on September 21, 1945, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

He was the best loving husband, the greatest father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His wonder smile and great character will be missed by his family and friends.

Jose proudly served his country in the United States Army, and he heroically fought in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Mirella Vassallo; sons, Jose Sosa Jr., Jose Enrique Sosa, and Jose Angel Sosa; grandchildren, Joseph Sosa, Jonathan Sosa, Aliyanna Sosa, Kristofer Sosa, Brianna Sosa, Brenden Sosa, and Sebastian Sosa; great-grandchildren, Joseph Sosa Jr. and Bryson Sosa; brother, Jaime Sosa-Rios; sister, Margarita Sosa-Rios; nephews, Ricky Sosa, Danny Sosa, Henry Sosa, and Jaime Figueroa-Sosa; and a niece, Gloria Burton.
