Joseph Alan Dufour

Joseph Alan Dufour, born May 26, 1964 to Darnell and Mary Dufour, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at his camp in Clinton, Louisiana after a long 9 year battle with cancer.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Glenda White Dufour; two children, Brett and Lauren Dufour; mother, Mary Dufour Ourso and stepfather, Rodney Ourso; sisters, Leslie Hoff and husband, Bill, Beth Ross and husband, Wayne, Jan Bates and husband, Jack, Julie Dufour, Lia Williams and husband, Duane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darnell Dufour; four brothers, Eric, Jason, Danny, and Glen Dufour. Also, by his grandparents, Evelyn Ates and Lionel Templet and Maud and Byron Dufour.

Joseph loved gardening, hunting, fishing and especially loved being with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
