Joseph Charles Williams

Joseph Charles Williams, 66, of Central, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Joe served his country for 30+ years in the United States Army with multiple tours over seas, including Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq and even on home soil helping with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He was a member of the VFW and a member of Zoar Baptist Church in Central. Regardless of where he was or who he was with, he was serving his God, his family, his friends, his country, and his community. Anyone who knew Joe will feel the loss of his presence in their life.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph “J.C.” Williams and June Blanchard Lambert.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cassandra “Sandy” O’Neal Williams; siblings and their spouses, Cindy and Mike Bowman, David and Elois Williams, and Lionel and Dawn Lambert; sister-in-law, Cheryl O’Neal; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relative, friends and military service family.

Visitation will be held at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, Central, Monday, April 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will resume Tuesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. until service at 12 p.m., officiated by Rev.
