Josephine "Josie" Elizabeth Hayman Stephenson

Josephine “Josie” Hayman Stephenson, 77, of Pine Grove, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Stephenson; parents, Jim and Cora Hayman; and sister, Dorothy Hayman.

Josie is survived by her adopted sons, Buddy Stephenson (Patti) and Jim Stephenson (Maudi) and eight grandchildren; and Vanessa Hughes, who was her caregiver, overseer, and loved as a daughter.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Monday, January 19, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. in the South Chapel. Burial will follow in Amite Baptist Cemetery. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
