Judith Batson Benesta

Judith "Judy" Elaine Benesta, at the age of 81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2026. She was born in Cornelia, Georgia on February 18, 1945.

She was strong, independent, and the glue to our family. Her greatest joy in life was her devoted husband of 63 years, Charles "Chuck". Together they spent their lives traveling and making memories. She spent decades working for The André family with Diamond Motors, Inc. Judy enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch, playing computer games, and taking pictures. She was a loving mother and grandmother "Nanny". She lived her life for her family. She was the number one supporter in all the dance recitals and ball games. She never minded giving a suggestion or two to the umpires and coaches. To say we will miss her is an understatement. Judy will forever be cherished in our memories.

Judy is survived by her son, Kris (Michelle); daughters, Kathy and Karen; Grandkids, Kelly (Blake), Brad, Kory, Mark, Kayla, Judah, Kimberly, Easton, and Landry; Sibling, Brenda Taylor; and numerous great grandchildren, nephews, and a niece.

Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Charles D. Benesta; infant daughter, Kimberley Ellen; parents, Walter and Dora Belle Batson; sister, Peggy Randall; and in-laws, Charles Benesta and Gertrude Cooper.

Serving as pallbearers will be Easton Benesta, Blake Hamel, Chase Hamel, Michael Mitchell, Bryan Stillson, and Greg Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Barry André and Matthew Estis.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 20335 Texas St., Livingston, on July 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Gateway Memorial Park, in Livingston, Louisiana.
