Easterly, Julia Frances

Julie Easterly was born March 28, 1950, and died December 25, 2024, at the age of 74.  A native of Livingston Parish, she was a graduate of Live Oak High School, Louisiana State University, and The University of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton S. and Sarah J. Easterly.

She is survived by three brothers, A. Shelby Easterly, III and John W. Easterly, Sr., Watson, LA and Thomas P. Easterly, Mobile, Alabama.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Service, Denham Springs, LA, Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until services at 10:00 a.m. on December 30, 2024, officiated by Rev. David Orges. Interment to follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmie McCoy, Willis Achord, Nicholas Penn, Michael Hill, John W. Easterly, Jr. and Tom S. Easterly. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Blades, Rick Hughes, Willie Smith, and Brandon Reinninger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Live Oak Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 709, Watson, LA 70786.  The family extends their deepest thanks to Tammy Jo Williams, Julie’s trusted friend, advocate, and angel.
