Julius Lee "JL" NeSmith

Julius Lee (JL) NeSmith, Jr left this earth for his heavenly home on August 5, 2026. He was a resident of Irvington, AL and formally of Pine, LA.

He was born on April 10, 1955 in Baton Rouge, LA, and worked for many years in the construction industry.

He is survived by wife Janice, one daughter: Jackie Mathews of Gonzales, LA; one son: Julius (Shaynah) NeSmith, III; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two sisters: Joan (Dusty) Knight of Skyline, AL; Shari Beach of Denham Springs, LA; and a brother: Steve (Sue) NeSmith of Franklinton, LA.

He was preceded in death by parents, JL and Judy NeSmith, Sr.

Graveside burial will be at Bonnie Cemetery, Angie, LA, at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
