June Lemar “JL” Cutrer, Jr, resident of Walker, passed away on September 20, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. JL was born on March 12, 1953 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Maritta Saucier Cutrer and June Lemar Cutrer, Sr. He proudly served in the United States Army as a paratrooper and MP at Fort Bragg. He loved LSU baseball, fishing, and the mountains in Arkansas. Above all, he enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He was a member of Live Oak Church.

JL is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Hargroder Cutrer; children, Jeremy Cutrer (Lauren), Ashley Cutrer Santiago (Alvaro), Brent Cutrer (Rosa), and Kevin Cutrer (Denise); grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Callie, Caroline, Dylan, Madelyn, Luke, Isabella, Sophia, Jacob, Melina, Carina, Alaina, Clayton, and Clint; sister, Susan Cutrer; brother, Scott Cutrer; and a host of nieces and nephews.

JL is preceded in death by his parents.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave. Denham Springs, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM conducted by Dr. Mark Crosby. Military honors will follow. Burial will take place on a later date at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana.
