Junius Joseph Albarez passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 18, 2026, at the age of 89. He was born on August 15, 2026, in Plattenville, Louisiana.

Junius proudly served his country in the Army National Guard, where he served as paratrooper. He loved LSU sports of any kind and you could always find him yelling at the T.V., it didn’t matter if they were winning or losing. Later in life, Annie and him enjoyed spending time together camping and fishing. Most of all he loved his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Junius is survived by his loving wife, Annie Albarez; daughter, Becky Gibbs (Steve) and Mary Jo Duncan (Joe); sons, Vincent Musso (Christine) and Mariano Musso; step daughters, Kathy Spica, Rosemary Talbot, and Debbie Spica; sister, Dale Mabile (Percy); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kembra Gordon; step daughter, Victoria Woodcock; his parents, Celestin and Rosa Albarez; brothers, Charles, Donald, Terry, and Harold Albarez.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Fennell, Tony Woodcock, Steve Gibbs, Nicholas Musso, Daniel Duncan, and Stephen Gibbs.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Seale Funeral Home, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 2:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hutchinson Family Cemetery, in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
