Kandy Sue Ray

Kandy Sue Ray, age 74, of Denham Springs, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was born on May 20, 1951, in Orlando, Florida.

She is survived by her loving children, Gerald Ray and Daryl Ray Jr.; grandchildren, Victoria Easley, Kacy Harrell, and Michael Ray; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Easley and Liam Harrell. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie Mull; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daryl Ray Sr.; her parents, James Cox and Mary Jane Metz Cox.

Kandy was a creative and imaginative soul who found great joy in painting and writing stories. Through her artwork, she expressed beauty and emotion, and through her words, she brought characters and ideas to life. She had a special gift for seeing the world in a unique way and sharing the vision with others. Whether with a brush or a pen in hand, she found peace and purpose in creating.

Her creativity and gentle spirit will be deeply missed, but the stories she told and art she created will remain as a lasting reflection of her life and passion.
