Karen Elizabeth Mougeot

Karen Elizabeth Mougeot passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 54. She will be lovingly remembered by her father, Paul Mougeot; sisters Rachel Litton (and husband Kenneth Litton) and Paula Jarreau (and husband Joey Jarreau); brothers David Mougeot (and wife Tammy Mougeot) and James Fountain (and wife Kassidy Fountain); nieces and nephews Andreanna Lemoine, Jared Lemoine, Tyler Whittaker, Chas Harrison, Darian Mougeot, Zane Mougeot, Dylan Jarreau and Nolan Jarreau.

A 1989 graduate of Catholic High of Pointe Coupee, Karen’s compassionate heart shone in caring for elderly friends and family. She also loved spending time with her pets, especially her beloved Tucker, Sweet Pea and Lucille. She worked for many years as a dispatcher of the PCPSO and for a telecommunications company.

She’s preceded in death by her brother Travis Mougeot, nephew Joshua Mougeot, and stepmother Beverly Mougeot. She will be deeply missed. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
