Kayla Lynn Morris

Kayla Lynn Morris, 30, of Pierre Part, Louisiana, passed away on June 19, 2025. Born on March 4, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kayla brought light and laughter into the lives of those around her from the very beginning.

Kayla was known for her vibrant personality, boundless kindness, and deep love for her family. Her presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a unique ability to bring joy into any room and was a source of strength and comfort to many.

Kayla is survived by her children, Baileigh, Jake, and Whitley; her mother, Rebecca Youngkin Scioneaux; stepfather, Berris Joseph Scioneaux Jr.; father, Christopher Anthony Morris; and stepmother, Krystale Morris. Kayla also leaves behind her siblings: Brandon, Taylor, Haley, Paris, Kryssa, Kendall, Brycen, Paisley, and Gabby. Her grandparents Randall and Cathie Young-kin were a cherished part of her life as well. In addition to her immediate family, Kayla is mourned by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Bentley Bryan Lorenzo Canales; sister Katie Nicole Morris; grandfather Arnett Morris; grandmother Barbara Miley; and step-grandparents Berris and Judy Scioneaux.

Kayla’s family asks that she be remembered not for the sorrow of her passing but for the happiness she gave so freely during her life. May her memory bring peace to all who knew and loved her. A Service will be held on June 28, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Seale Funeral Home 1720 S Range Ave
