Kaylee Elizabeth “KK” Riddle, age 18, of Erwinville, Louisiana, passed away on October 11, 2025, just two days after her 18th birthday. Born in Baton Rouge on October 9, 2007, Kaylee came into the world with a sparkle that never dimmed. She filled every room with laughter, love, and a little bit of sass — the kind that made her unforgettable.
An Ambassador, BETA member, athlete, and proud senior at her local high school, Kaylee was known for her radiant smile, quick wit, and thoughtful nature. She had a special gift for making people feel seen and loved — whether through her perfectly chosen gifts, her spot-on humor, or her ability to brighten anyone’s day with a single text or smile.
Kaylee loved the outdoors almost as much as she loved a cold Dr Pepper (which, to her family’s amusement, she considered one of life’s essentials). Whether she was hunting, hanging out under a Louisiana sunset, or laughing with friends, she lived every moment fully. Her cat, Bella, was her constant companion, offering comfort, cuddles, and a touch of sass that matched Kaylee’s own.
At school and on the field, Kaylee’s competitive spirit and big heart shone through. She was the loudest cheerleader for her teammates and the first to lend a hand or a smile when someone needed it. Her sense of humor could turn tears into laughter, and her kindness left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know her.
Kaylee is survived by her loving parents, Tiffany and Brian Riddle; her sister, Haley Riddle; and her brother, Caleb Riddle. She is also cherished by her grandparents, Alan and Reba Riddle, Larry and Frances Bates; her great-grandfather, Mr. Paul Spencer; her aunts and uncles, Michel and Missy Riddle, and Daniel and Misty Simon; her cousins, Angelle and Brodie Riddle, and Sarah Simon; and a wide circle of friends and family who adored her.
Pallbearers will be Michael Riddle, Caleb Riddle, Brodie Riddle, Hayes Lemoine, Danny Catoir, and Brandon Riddle.
Kaylee’s light, laughter, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Though her time here was far too short, her spirit will never fade — it will echo in every laugh, every sunset, and maybe even every ice-cold Dr Pepper enjoyed in her honor.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, October 16, 2025, for visitation at Grace Church of Central, 13845 Hooper Road, from 3:00 PM until the funeral service at 7:00 PM. A graveside service and burial will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Woodworth Cemetery in Woodworth, Louisiana, at 10:30 AM.
