Kelly Downey, Sr.

Kelly Alan Downey Sr, passed away on July 18, 2026. He was born December 14, 1984, in Lafayette Louisiana to Cheryl Downey. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl Downey and brother Richard Wyatt. 

Kelly is survived by his children Alan, Haylie, Jared and Derrick, his grandchildren Kaisen and Paesely, his sisters Lauren and Amy, and brothers Jesse and Eric, among nieces and nephews.

Kelly was a generous spirit, he would give the shirt of his back to help his family. He was devoted to being a wonderful grandfather. Kelly was Jared’s best friend. Kelly loved old westerns and a cup of coffee in the morning. He was a craftsman with his hands, you want it built Kelly could do it.
