Kenneth O. Martin

Kenneth O. Martin, 75, of Denham Springs, LA passed away on August 25th, 2025. He was born on July 15th, 1950 in Independence, LA to Luther Emil & Nina Lee Bridges Martin. Kenny was a devoted husband to Patsy Magee Martin and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather & uncle.

Kenny was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 40+ years working as a commercial floor installer. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family. He deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity, kindness, & generosity. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Kenny is survived by loving wife of 54 years, Patsy Magee Martin; his daughter, Lynnette Gautreaux (Ben); his sons Coy Martin (Laci) and Blake Martin (Ashley); grandchildren, Layton Richard, Grace Sills (Hayden), Cy Martin, Landry Harrell, and Aiden Martin; his great grandchildren, Drae Richard, Jade Richard, and Scarlett Richard. As well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther & Nina Lee Martin; his daughter, Angie Leigh Martin; his grandson, Chaise Kit Richard; and his siblings, Levern Facundus (Donald), Linda Mincey (Buddy), Luther Martin (Vanessa) and Francis Gayle.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at Hebron Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA from 10 to 12 with a service to follow at noon. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. He would always say… I love you a bushel & a peck & a hug around the neck. & you can’t love more than that!
