Kevin Todd Byrns

Kevin Todd Byrns, 53, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.

Kevin was born on February 14, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Belaire High School and played in the Bengals marching band. Kevin never met a stranger and made many friends in his lifetime. He was a good man who lived by his word and always followed through on promises.

Kevin worked for many years as a guard at Elayn Hunt Correctional Facility, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring early due to an injury. Kevin thrived on helping those less fortunate, and when a person just needed a little kindness, he was eager to oblige.

Services will be held at Seale funeral home in Denham Springs on Tuesday, September 23. Visitation from 1pm to 3pm with the service beginning at 3pm.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Cori Cooper Byrns, two precious daughters, Skylar “Jo” and Scarlet, his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Amanda, his two grandchildren Austin and Amelia Byrns, his sister Kellie and brother-in-law Scott Alford, his lifelong best friend Scott Easley, his mother-in-law Victoria Perrin, his wonderful mother Shelia Pearce Byrns, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father John Thomas Byrns, brother Mike Byrns, and his grandparents with whom he is rejoicing in Heaven.
