Kim Marie Blakewood

Kim Marie Blakewood, a radiant soul departed this earth on December 12, 2023, at the tender age of 61. Born on February 5, 1962, she was a beacon of individuality and a free-spirited woman who danced to the rhythm of her own heart. You could often find her jamming out to the famous Stevie Nicks, who many say she had a great likeness too. Kim leaves behind her beloved children, Tara Elizabeth Marie King and Melissa Lynae Dale Richards, who gave her 6 wonderful grandchildren. She also leaves behind her lovely mother, Earline Boudoin Richard, and brother, Shane Richard (Casey Richard). Kim was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Derek Blakewood this past February. His absence left an unfilled void in her heart. Additionally, her father, Richard Dale Richard who she lost as a young girl and her daughter, Cheyenne Leather Dawn Richards who left us long before her time. A memorial service shall be announced at a later date, allowing us to gather and celebrate Kim’s journey of resilience and joy.
