Lana Rachele Guidry

Lana Alise Guidry (57) departed this life on July 5, 2025, after losing her battle with addiction. She was a graduate of Glen Oaks High School and went on to attend university, where she earned distinction on the Dean’s List.

She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Danny McDanell Jr., and her mother, Mildred Elaine Alise.

Lana leaves behind daughters Megan McDanell (partner Garrett Peterman) and Chloe Rabalais (husband Coty), son Zane Guidry and grandchildren Anthony, Amelia, Kinsley, and Eli. Father and stepmother John and Diane Alise.

Our family asks that you realize that addiction is a disease that does not discriminate. Speaking the truths no matter the circumstances surrounding the epidemic of drug use may be the difference between life and death for someone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726 on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m.
