Lauren M. Broome, resident of Denham Springs, passed away at the age of 38 on November 24, 2025. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to her parents Danny Broome and Cheron Seaman on June 15, 1987. Lauren attended Denham Springs Highschool. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family as a homemaker and working various part-time jobs.
Written by her 14-year-old daughter: “Lauren had a beautiful heart and she shined both inside and out. She changed, cherished and helped many lives. She was the most hard working and determined woman. Helping people and putting lives before her own was her passion. She was a home to everybody because she believed people’s flaws didn’t define them. She saw everyone as a friend and cared deeply, even to strangers. She was trusting, caring, and oh so beautiful.”
Written by a close friend: “Lauren touched so many lives with her kindness and loving heart. She was a special soul who danced to the beat of her own drum. She was wild and beautiful and would do anything for anybody.”
Lauren will be greatly missed by her children, her parents, and all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Danny Broome (Julie) and Cheron Seaman (Perry), daughters Wynsdae Shively and Scarlet Bridges, step-sisters Christy Seaman and Brittany Buckels, brother Bret Broome, step-brother Perry Seaman, and nephews Kaden Saxon and Mason Broome.
She is preceded in death by grandparents James Broome and Mable Broome, and grandmother Wilma Riggle.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to our family, our church, and the Carter family for helping us through a very difficult time.
There was a private family memorial held on November 27, 2025.
