Lena Margaret Lange Carter, a resident of Kentwood, Louisiana, passed away at her home Saturday, October 17, 2026. Born on July 14, 1939, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was 87 years of age.

She is survived by her daughter, Misti Lynn Carter Lee, and husband, Robert “Bobby” Edward Lee, Jr.; her son: Donald Ray “Bo” Carter, Jr., and wife, Irene Lorraine Carter; two grandchildren, Matthew Kirk Carter and wife, Kacy Rochelle Carter, and Skylar Blaine Castille; and three great-grandchildren, Lane Tate Carter, Kylee Rochelle Carter, and Rylee Denise Carter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Cater, Sr.; her son: Randall Kirk Carter; her parents, Albertha May Judd Lange and Theodore Leopold Lange; and her brothers and sisters, Maude Lange Ellis, Willie C. Lange, Sr., Alfreda Lange Allen, Joy Lange Mason, Mae Lange Law, Theordore L. Lange, Jr., Mary Lange Stanley, Katherine Lange Mclin, Louis Lange, Sr., Robert Lange, and Francis Diane Lange.

Seale Funeral Service was entrusted with final arrangements and care. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
