Leonard Scot Stewart

Leonard Scot Stewart, beloved, Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 61. He was born in Augusta, Georgia on February 7, 1964 to Clarence Chester Stewart, SR. and Virginia Ann Stewart.

A true outdoorsman, Scot found joy in fishing and camping, he loved to travel and explore the great outdoors. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his adventurous heart, and the joy he brought to every moment. He enjoyed the simple things, ice cream, singing, and a cold beer by a lake somewhere.

Scot is survived by his wife of 22 years, Martha Gilmore; sons, Michael Stewart (Reagan) and Dillon Stewart (Reaghan); stepchildren, Valerie, Jeff, and Christine; grandchildren, Connor, Emily, Alice, Isabella, Reid, Estella-Kate, Jeremiah, Mario, Miracle, Jade, Cali, Malachi, Alex, and Bennett; sisters, Kathy Stewart and Janet McMillan, brother, Chip Stewart; Nieces, Sara Henderson, Mandi Sadat, Audrey mason; nephews, Jeremiah McMillan and PJ Serfuentes.

He is preceded in death by his father, C.C. Stewart, SR.; mother, Virginia Stewart; and sister, Maria Tucker.

Scot will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with his family.
