Letha Brown

Letha Diann Brown entered Heaven on August 21, 2026, at 8:50 p.m. She was a 67-year-old resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, born on April 26, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois. She was one of seven children born to Letha Searcy Crum and John Floyd Crum. She attended Jackson Elementary School and Jackson High School in Jackson, Louisiana.

Later in life, she moved to Denham Springs, where she was a dedicated member of Journey Church in Watson. She was known for her loving and compassionate care of family, friends, and members of her community. She enjoyed spending time at the Council on Aging in Denham Springs and cherished the many friendships she made there.

Letha loved adult coloring, walking in the park, dining out with family and friends, and spending time with her precious dog, Coco. She was well known for her wonderful sense of humor and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be held at Journey Church in Watson on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Memorial service for family will begin at 10:00 a.m., with memorial service for friends and the public at 11:00 a.m. The service will be conducted by Pastor Jeremy Guintini, with a eulogy presented by her oldest brother, John Michael Crum.

Letha was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown; her parents, Letha Searcy Crum and John Floyd Crum; and her siblings, Roger Dale Crum and Judy Marie Crum.

She is survived by her siblings, John Michael Crum and wife Mary, Wilbur Keith Crum and wife Cindy, Cynthia Gail Crum Sturgeon and husband Vandy, and Linda Gladys Crum. She is also survived by her two children, Frankie Lee Brown and Brandon Michael Brown; and her grandson, Aaron Michael Brown. Also her longtime friend and roommate, Norma McMillian;

She leaves behind numerous cherished relatives and friends, including her caregivers Lindsey Cox, Tiffany Bennett, and Maddison Lee; She is also survived by her many loving friends at the Council on Aging of Denham Springs.

Flowers are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Council on Aging of Denham Springs or Journey Church in Watson.
